Alternative Shindig - "Voyage to Mars" - April 17th

Save the date – Saturday, April 17th – The Arizona Browncoats are taking a "Voyage to Mars." We're going to the AZ Challenger Space Center at 21170 North 83rd Ave, Peoria. They have a tour of the center that cost $6 ($4 for students 6+ and senior citizens 55+), and the actually mission "Voyage to Mars" that costs $17.50 ($15.00 for students and senior citizens 55+).

The plan is to go in the morning for the tour, have lunch at a local restaurant, and then go on the mission in the afternoon. The cost for the tour and the mission would be just $17.50 ($15.00 for students and senior citizens 55+). Some people can go for just the tour, some just for the mission, or hopefully most will be going to both. In order to get a mission reservation we need at least 16 people on the mission "Voyage to Mars," and we need to have the money in order to make the confirmation.

Tour – 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Lunch – 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Mission – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

There is no age limit for children on the tour, and it's free for children under 5 years old. The mission does have an age limit. It is not recommended for students that are in the 2nd grade or under. Information is given at a 6th grade reading level, so children that are in the 3rd and 4th grade must fly with a ticketed adult. There will be a sign up sheet at the next meeting on February 6th, and money will be collected for admission. Feel free to invite family and friends along on the trip. If you're interested, add a note, so we can know about how many people will be going with us.
