Voyage to Mars Saturday, April 17th
Here's the information you need for the upcoming Shindig at the Challenger Space Center of Arizona. You know you want to go! We need 3 more people, so contact us if you're interested in coming along!Challenger Space Center of Arizona - 21170 North 83rd Ave, PeoriaThe mission "Voyage to Mars" costs $17.50 ($15.00 for students and senior citizens 55+). The plan is to go in the morning for a tour, have lunch at a local restaurant, and then go on the mission in the afternoon. To man the Mission Control and the Space Shuttle, 16 people are needed for the mission "Voyage to Mars."
• Tour – 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Lunch – 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
• Mission – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
The mission does have an age limit. It is not recommended for students that are in the 2nd grade or under. Information is given at a 6th grade reading level, so children that are in the 3rd and 4th grade must fly with a ticketed adult.
We have 11 people that signed up to go on the mission and 2 more that are interested. The Space Center will be opening it up to the public to try and get at least 3 more people to make it a successful experience. The maximum amount is 32. Feel free to invite family and friends along on the trip.
