Elections for Chairperson and Treasurer ended at midnight this morning. Winning the Treasurer election uncontested was Marg Grady. Chairperson was more hotly contested albeit friendly race between David Richins and Jennifer Anderson with David (me) just eeking out the win at the 11th hour. I'm overwhelmed by the confidence everyone has in me and I know Jennifer still has plenty to offer to any of the remaining positions.

Nominations began today for the remaining two Board positions with nominations proposed and seconded for Jennifer Anderson and Kevin McAlonan. This nomination cycle will continue through Thursday so if you're a member be sure to get over to the member board and nominate anyone you believe is right for the executive board. If you are not yet a member, you can register at the Membership page and be eligible to vote immediately after the payment has been processed. Current members may vote now but should register for the new year before May 1 so their membership does not lapse. Membership dues have been cut in half this year, so there's no reason not to become an official member. Polling begins Friday and will last through Sunday night at midnight. Next week will be President, Vice President, and Procedural Secretary.
