Far too often these days, the best series are on the web. Megabot is no different. With the downfall of Dollhouse, our friendly neighborhood brain wiper, Fran Kranz, is occupying himself with the hilarious short web series. It's worth a look. It does have some (strike that... lots) strong language and adult humor, but not really any worse than PG...

I've posted about PROBED:signals before, but just thought I would give you an update. This original sci-fi web series began with a short film (20:00) about an alien encounter and the Phoenix Lights phenomenon. The film even was honored with "Special Achievement in Cinematography" by the International Horror and Sci-Fi Festival (which takes place right here in Phoenix at MADCAP Theaters, our favorite community theater!)...

I ran across PROBED:signals today in a Facebook post from Phoenix Comicon. This original sci-fi web series began with a short film (20:00) about an alien encounter and the Phoenix Lights phenomenon. It appears to be 100% local, and in the second episode the main characters even get some pizza at Queen's Pizzeria and Cafe in Mesa, which is the home of Star Trek (Poetry) Slam and serves some very yummy sandwiches and pizza (the bread is AMAZING). The short film is listed as Episode 0, and then Episodes 1 through 7 are currently available. Episodes 8 and 9 will be released over the next month or so.
