As we've mentioned a few times before (hey, we like her!) Marian Call is a musician with the perfect mix of jazz, funk, blues, indie, and geek. Fact: she even plays the typewriter! This Alaska-based musician has been out touring the country on a DIY national tour, aiming to hit all 50 states and even some parts of Canada.

I had the privilege of going to her concert in Gilbert last year and it was a blast. Now there's an opportunity for you to hear her perform live too. Her DIY national tour brings her to Arizona next week! ...

She stopped by last year at a benefit concert for a local horse rescue in Gilbert and a blast was had by all. In just five days, this Alaska-based musician hits the road again on her DIY national tour, aiming to hit all 50 states and even some parts of Canada.

There's a certain immeasurable joy and satisfaction in claiming a "scoop." Sure it's not "Serenity 2 confirmed!" but it's most definitely pretty big local Browncoat news... and I get to announce it first! I've already mentioned Marian Call is coming to Arizona in May, but I just got in direct contact with her and got the details.
